However, there is still plenty of room for further security measures.
At the Hanover Fair 2007, Phoenix Contact and Innominate Security Technologies announced their long-term technological partnership with the aim of jointly developing innovative security solutions for industrial applications.
The first stage of this is for the Blomberg-based automation specialist to integrate selected products from the Innominate mGuard Security range into its catalogue as part of the Factory Line product family.
With these new security solutions, Phoenix Contact is further expanding its already comprehensive Ethernet portfolio.
This currently includes hubs, unmanaged and managed switches, network management software, radio components, controllers, operating and monitoring devices, and I/O solutions for switching cabinet and field applications - as well as media converters, COM servers, surge protectors, patch bays, plug connectors, pre-assembled and unassembled cables, and all relevant tools.
This means that users can now obtain a full-scale Ethernet-based automation solution from one single supplier - Phoenix Contact. Request free introductory details about products from Phoenix Contact ...
