Safe PLCopen modules

As a manufacturer of safe control systems, Phoenix Contact is now offering safe function modules for safety technology that are certified according to PLCopen

These function modules are certified by TUV Rheinland (a technical inspection authority) and make it easier for users to create safety-oriented applications They reduce the amount of programming work required and increase the transparency of systems

Nineteen safety function modules dedicated to inputs/outputs, the finite state machine, error recognition, and error handling have all been specified as part of the work carried out by the PLCopen working group.

Included in these are the most important safety functions such as emergency shut-off, safety doors, muting, operating mode selector switches, and two-hand control.

Phoenix Contact has integrated the simple planning, installation, and operation of safety-oriented machines and systems with support over the entire life cycle into one safety concept.
