The Pilz Automation Technology training course schedule for 2006, that includes safety systems and the responsibilities for safe working of staff maintaining machinery

Pilz Automation Technology has now published its schedule of training courses for 2006 This includes a range of courses that will appeal to machine designers, control system designers, maintenance engineers and managers with responsibility for the health and safety of staff working with machinery

Additional courses will be added to the schedule as they become available during the year.

The first section of the schedule concentrates on Directives and standards: Machine Builders Regulations and Standards; Design of Hardwired Electrical Safety Related Control Systems for Machinery; Requirements for Maintaining Plant and Machinery - Safety Related Controls; City and Guilds 4-Day Machinery Safety Course; 5-Day IOSH Managing Safety Course - Incorporating Machinery Safety; and Introduction to BS EN 61508 (IEC 61508).

In addition, the following product-related training courses are available: PSS (programmable safety system) Programming; PSS/SafetyBUS p Programming; PSS Service and Troubleshooting; PSS/SafetyBUS p Service and Troubleshooting; and PNOZmulti-Introduction and programming.

Note that Pilz can also tailor courses to meet the specific needs of customers, and arrangements can be made for training courses - either standard or tailored - to be run at a customer's premises or at an off-site location close to the customer if that is more convenient.
