The Airflow anemometer calibration rig is an open jet wind tunnel designed and built to BS 1042 specification.
Along with a master test meter we are able to set and control velocities from 0.25 to 30.5 m/sec.
The air stream is constantly monitored for turbulence and the tunnel is of a laminar design so as to keep the air stream stable and uniform.
Velocity levels are regulated using an inverter drive and the tunnel also uses sharp edge orifice plates for different ranges.
This system allows Pullman to calibrate the full range anemometers by virtually all manufactures.
Pullman Instruments (UK) Ltd are the approved service agents for Airflow Developments Limited in the north of England.
