The profiling thermocouples can be supplied with up to 5 measuring points in either a rigid quartz protection sheath or in a flexible housing made from high purity ceramic insulators.
The maximum profiling length is 2 metres.
Regulation thermocouples, sometimes know as 'spikes', are supplied with 1 to 3 measuring points in a rigid ceramic sheath which is typically 3 to 6 mm in diameter.
Both standard and customised designs can be manufactured as type K, R, S or B thermocouples for use up to 1300C.
All thermocouples are supplied with individual calibration tables from 400 to 1300C in 10C increments.
To ensure the highest levels of measurement accuracy and stability the thermocouples are produced and packaged in a clean room environment and constructed from specially cleaned and heat treated wire.
To further improve their reliability, only original thermocouple wire is used from the measuring point to the end connector, no extension wire is used in their construction.
Produced by Atexis, the leading French supplier of high accuracy temperature sensors, these thermocouples are already used by leading semiconductor manufacturers around the world.
They are now available in the UK and Ireland through Platinum Sensors.
Atexis also offers a comprehensive repair and recalibration service for all types of thermocouple assembly.
They also recycle precious metal wire from old or broken thermocouple assemblies.
