Pro Auction announces food processing tender

Pro Auction has announced an auction tender of the food processing machinery located at Sara Lee, Bridlington and pizza processing and sauce manufacturing from the former Heinz plant in Grimsby.

The tender closes on 24 September 2008, with viewing from the 15-19 September 2008.

Items for sale include content from the gateaux manufacturing rooms, cream rooms, sauce plants, engineering, office furniture and canteen to include plant and machinery, silos, boilers and CHP generators.

Pro Auction Limited said items of note include eight Giusti and Skerman sauce kettles, Bakery Engineers pie lines, Rademaker lamination and pie shell lines, Comas pie and tart manufacturing lines, numerous spiral mixers, Mondomix aerators and mixers and Frigo Scandia spiral freezers.

The processing machinery for pizza is also offered to the highest bidder.

The entire content is for sale and will include the boilers and CHP generator, refrigeration equipment, contents of the offices, locker rooms and test kitchen.

There are more than 1,500 lots included in the sale.

The tender viewing takes place at Sara Lee Bakeries UK in Bridlington, between 15-19 September 2008 with final tender offers to be submitted to the auctioneers by 5pm on 24 September 2008.
