A Penny + Giles product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jan 8, 2004

At Mtec, Penny + Giles will be launching a new addition to their range of rugged rotary sealed sensors, and a compact, twin-track, linear sensor capable of withstanding temperatures up to 175C

Rugged, reliable position sensing will be the theme of the Penny + Giles stand D100 at Mtec 2004.

The company will be launching two new products at the show; a new addition to its range of rugged rotary sealed sensors, and a compact, twin-track, linear sensor capable of withstanding temperatures up to 175C.

Designed for use in harsh industrial and automotive - high vibration, shock and high temperature environments - the new products offer viable solutions where competitive offerings fail.

New additions to the linear displacement ranges which will be displayed for the first time at Mtec include the competitively priced SLS220, ideal for OEMs and process control applications where the accurate measurement of small deflections is required, and the new longer length SLS320 with stroke lengths from 1100mm to 1600mm.

The stand will also feature the company's wide range of position sensing technology for the industrial and manufacturing markets including linear displacement sensors, sealed rotary sensors and contactless LVDTs and RVDTs.
