Motor driven pump completes the range
ProMinent Fluid Controls has introduced the Sigma/1 motor driven precision dosing pump to complete the comprehensive Sigma series, with flow rates from 17 to 1030 L/hr
Joining Sigma/2 and Sigma/3, the Sigma/1 pump has a dosing capability of 17 to 120 l/hr This new addition means that the Sigma series now has an overall pumping range of 17 to 1030 l/hr

New motor driven dosing pump completes the range
ProMinent Fluid Controls has introduced the Sigma/1 motor driven precision dosing pump to complete the comprehensive Sigma series range, now covering 17 to 1030 L/hr
The Sigma/1 features the same microprocessor controller used on the other pumps in the Sigma range, as well as the gamma/L solenoid driven pump.
Since all four pumps have identical control technology, they are completely interchangeable on site, should the dosing requirements change.
All four benefit from a direct readout of metered volume in l/hr or US gal/hr, and all four have an optional Profibus interface to allow the pumps to be used via intelligent links where monitoring and control comes through connection to a central control system.
The microprocessor metering control offers easily controllable metering by using a combination of frequency and on/off control.
At higher flow rates, metering is controlled by closed-loop speed control, while at lower dosing rates, a simple on/off system is used.
The Sigma series is equipped as standard with a PVDF liquid ends with integrated safety bypass valve, which can be used with a huge variety of metered fluids.
For special applications, stainless steel liquid ends are optionally available.
