Compliance with the ATEX Directive is mandatory from 1 July 2003.
The new internal control version of the pump features stroke length adjustment from 1:10 and a stroke rate adjustment of 1:25 giving a total adjustment range of 1:250.
The short-stroke solenoid drive and complete pump control are integrated in the pump housing where the drive is not only protected against explosions, but also has contact and moisture protection IP 65 in accordance with DIN 40050 even when the front cover is open.
There is also a new operating voltage of 500V, which expands the range of applications to include storm endangered mining operations.
The EXtronic pumps have a capacity range from 0.23 l/hr up to 60 l/hr at backpressures up to a maximum of 25 bar.
Liquid ends are available in Plexiglas, polypropylene, Teflon, stainless steel 1.4404 or SB for combustible media.
Self-bleeding liquid ends are also available for pumping fluids that outgas.
