A new series of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps is available from ProMinent Fluid Controls: shaft seals are unnecessary on the vonTAINE AM pump range, using magnetic force transmission

A new series of magnetically coupled centrifugal pumps is available from ProMinent Fluid Controls (UK) Ltd The magnetic coupling enables the vonTAINE AM pump range to transfer fluids from tank to tank or from a tank to a discharge line with no leakage

The vonTAINE AM pumps can be used for acids, caustic solutions, acid and alkaline mixtures, solvents, alkaline degreasing baths, galvanic baths and photochemicals.

They are also suitable for radioactive, sterile, precious and highly corrosive liquids and other solid-free fluids with density up to 1.4 kg/dm3 and viscosity up to 20 mPas.

The pump drive is based on contactless magnetic force transmission, which makes shaft seals unnecessary.

As a result, the pump housings are hermetically sealed and therefore never leak.

A choice of two liquid end materials is available: glass fibre reinforced PP and carbon fibre reinforced E-CTFE.

The vonTAINE AM pumps are available in 3 capacity versions, with a maximum delivery rate of 8700 l/h and a delivery head up to 10.7 metres.

The feed rate is proportional to back pressure.
