ProMinent UK Sales Manager, Andrew Armytage, commented: "The design and manufacture of customised dosing packages for disinfection, pH control, additives, lead removal and phosphate removal in water treatment applications is a significant part of our business.
This new skid allows both batch and flow control methods to be demonstrated.
It is a complex assembly which amply illustrates our expertise to produce such systems and also provides a perfect platform for George Fischer to demonstrate their products".
The skid features a batch dosing circuit with a Signet batch controller, air actuated valves and a Signet flow monitor to control the delivery of specific quantities of liquid.
The flow circuit uses standard valves and a 4-20 mA card to provide accurate positioning of the valve for flow control.
The whole assembly is mounted on a rugged polypropylene skid, and with a polypropylene cover, can be readily transported.
A Mitsubishi processor is fitted to simulate external control signals to replicate real-world applications.
