Motor driven pump completes the range
ProMinent Fluid Controls has introduced the Sigma/1 motor driven precision dosing pump to complete the comprehensive Sigma series, with flow rates from 17 to 1030 L/hr
Consistent dosing of monosodium phosphate at the appropriate concentration into the water distribution system results in calcium phosphate being formed from calcium salts in the water which deposits as an inert coating on the inside of the pipework, preventing any lead from the pipe getting into the drinking water supply.
Proshield, a Motherwell based, wholly owned subsidiary of ProMininet Fluid Controls, worked closely with Scottish Water Solutions to design the packages, which were based around the ProMinent gamma/L precision dosing pump.
The dosing skids were built by ProMinent UK and Proshield undertook site installation.
The Proshield status as framework supplier to Scottish Water for the Q+S11 programme has also been extended by twelve months.
