PRI gets Smart pre-pay metering
technology guru

For the last five years, he has been in charge of strategic technology at Landis+Gyr, concentrating on developing smart metering concepts for the next generation of communicating meters for automatic meter reading applications employing technologies such as Bluetooth, GSM, Ethernet and Powerline carrier.
John represents the UK metering industry on two international IEC working groups on payment systems and reliability.
"We have been looking to make such an appointment for quite some time," said PRI's sales director Richard St Clair: "To get John is a major coup and provides us with a focal point for delivery of our next generation of Smart meters".
