It will provide Servomex with an assured service level that is backed by a stockholding of components - held for Servomex at the warehouse of Parker's local distributor, KC Instrumentation Products in Crawley.
In addition to stockholdings reserved for Servomex, KC Instrumentation Products will be putting a selection of the most commonly required products into the Servomex manufacturing facility in Crowborough as bonded stock - to further speed component supply for the OEM.
Richard Hart, of Servomex, who negotiated the agreement said "We are really happy with the new relationship we've forged with Parker.
As one of the big two vendors in this market they offer every component we need, and also proved to be the most commercially agile - setting up a supply chain geared to our manufacturing needs".
"Corporate supply chain agreements like this have numerous benefits for the client including reduced on-site stockholdings, faster deliveries, and enhanced technical support," says Mark Robinson of KC Instrumentation Products.
"In this instance we're reserving an average of around 400 line items for Servomex to use - helping them to manufacture their standard and custom gas analyser systems quickly and efficiently.".
