New 20K ball and needle valves
Parker Instrumentation has launched NACE-compliant ball and needle instrumentation valves optimised for high pressure hydraulics and fluid control applications operating at up to 20,000 PSI/1379 bar
Exhibits include the public debut of two newly-completed ranges of high-integrity double-block-and-bleed manifolds and ball valves.
Now available in a choice of four bore sizes up to 25mm, the Parker Pro-Bloc and Hi-Pro manifolds and ball valves are fabricated using one-piece and two-piece constructions respectively, to minimise potential leak paths.
Combined with the organisation's global logistics structure and special project services, this advanced product technology has made Parker the preferred partner on many of the largest and most influential offshore applications of our time - with recent successes including specification on Angostura, Buzzard, Dolphin, Greater Plutonio and Kashagan.
Also on display will be the Parker high performance non-return valves optimised for cost-sensitive fluid instrumentation applications.
The new Hi-Check valves employ a high integrity two-piece body with minimal leakage paths, and will accommodate pressures up to 10,000 PSI/689 bar.
Offshore engineers can also see the expanding Parker range of one-piece tubing clamps - the innovative 'Snap-Trap' range which radically simplifies the installation and maintenance of process instrumentation tubing.
A Snap-Trap component can be fitted in seconds, reducing installation time by up to 80% compared with some alternative systems which necessitate the assembly of up to 12 parts.
Already a leading technology in the Norwegian sector, the clamps are highly resistant to corrosion and comply with the NORSOK offshore standard.
