Working out of the Barnstaple HQ, Brian Rice becomes Parker Instrumentation Distributor Channel Manager, spanning the distribution operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific

Brian Rice has been appointed Distributor Channel Manager for Parker Instrumentation, the leading supplier of tube fittings, valves and manifolds to the oil, gas, petrochemical, processing and utility markets He brings detailed industry understanding and wide experience of international sales and marketing to the role, plus the knowledge and skills gained as a member of the pioneering Parker product innovation team

Working out of the Parker Barnstaple, UK headquarters, Brian's new remit spans the Parker Instrumentation Distributor operations across Europe, the Middle East, and Asia Pacific.

He will also work closely alongside the local offices and project teams, to preserve the highly complementary operations that have delivered sustained growth for Parker over the past decade.

"Customers look to our distributors for a highly responsive service, as well as for great products", says Brian Rice: "A key goal is to ensure that the feedback loop from our customers to the heart of our design, manufacturing and supply chain operations is kept as short and efficient as possible".

Parker Instrumentation General Manager Ian Huggins adds: "Over recent years, Parker Instrumentation has transformed the expectations for instrumentation products across the industries we serve, with major advances in flanged products and connectors.

Brian has played a key role in bringing these products to market, and he'll now be working with our distributor network to help maximize the value of these new developments for our customers".

Brian Rice joined Parker Instrumentation in 2000, when the company acquired Ives Valves: prior to that, he had worked for Heap and Partners, Spirax Sarco, and Valtek.
