New sensors for clamp-on flowmeter
Precision Flow have launched a new range of clamp-on ultrasonic flow sensors to go with their popular range of fixed and portable clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeters
The new transducers offer a higher sensitivity, improved by up to 25% compared to the previous sensors The transducers have a rugged construction with a stainless 316 outer skin and a lower overall profile when mounted on the pipe

New line of ultrasonic clamp-on flowmeters
Precision Flow showed off their ultrasonic clamp-on ultrasonic flowmeter at WWEM, and have developed several applications in the water industry: a recent example was on an HVAC system
There are many different types and styles of clamp-on flowmeter, each with their own advantages and disadvantages for particular applications: the most important differences are in the signal processing and sensor design.
By keeping their design and manufacturing in-house, Precision Flow can offer custom solutions to difficult applications.
For example custom mounting hardware, extended range transducers and customised machine software.
The standard new clamp-on sensors from Precision Flow come in 3 pipe ranges: the WPG covering pipe sizes from 15mm to 300mm, XPG covering pipe sizes from 50mm to 1200mm and XPGD covering pipe sizes 1200mm to 6500mm.
All sensors can be used outside the guide-line pipe sizes allowing much flexibility when on site.
