Due to its versatile nature, the unit can be used in practically any application that demands accurate remote pressure control, such as paper manufacturing, weaving, laser cutting or paint spraying.
When precise control is needed, standard pressure regulators are not always accurate enough.
There are many parameters that can cause inconsistencies in pneumatic systems - time, flow and cycling to name a few.
This new unit has been designed to eliminate such irregularities through the use of a closed-loop control circuit - vital for precision control.
Should the unit detect any pressure discrepancies it will adjust the actual value so that it corresponds with the set value.
This is a continuous process that ensures fast, accurate and consistent pressure regulation.
MPT40 Moduflex Proportional Technology Regulators offer the capability to incorporate pressure control into a fully integrated control system.
The ability to set the all control parameters via the easy to read LED and buttons offers total flexibility through the one basic unit, enabling it to be configured to suit virtually any application without the need to stock a variety models.
The unit operates on 24V DC, but should the supply fall below 19V DC, it goes into fail-safe mode, which ensures that pressure levels are approximately the same as before the decrease in supply voltage.
The unit offers outstanding performance, with excellent linearity, full flow exhaust and rapid response times.
Working mediums include compressed air or inert gasses, filtered to a minimum 50microns.
These can be lubricated, non-lubricated, above dew point, dried or un-dried.
There is no air consumption under normal conditions and in steady state.
The MPT40 Moduflex Proportional Technology Regulator is available in three pressure ranges, 0 to 2 bar, 0 to 7 bar and 0 to 10 bar.
