When he first started he had just one van and worked from home.
Today, we employ 27 people, have our own purpose built premises, run a fleet of ten specially equipped Hose Doctor vehicles, backed by 24x7 support, and have the first dedicated ParkerStore in the area".
John added, "Just as importantly, we've ambitious plans for future growth and will be expanding our Hose Doctor fleet and opening a further five ParkerStores in the region over the next five years.
The first of these is already being fitted out in Leeds and will be open shortly after the summer".
Achim Kohler concludes that the Parker Hannifin Distributor of the Year Award is, "An important initiative through which to recognise the skill, expertise and commitment of our distributors throughout Europe.
For key business partners such as Mend-a-Hose the Awards scheme highlights the success with which they have capitalised on the strength of the Parker Hannifin brand and been able to penetrate new markets using an integrated range of Parker Hannifin products, effectively giving their customers a complete package of technology and value added support services".
