Designed with safety and ease of use in mind, the simple to install 522 has an internal shift mechanism to minimise transmission misuse, while the use of a gasket eliminates gear backlash to check or set and the need to adjust gaskets; these features are combined with an integrated electric switch enabling the operator to confirm when the PTO is fully engaged.
The unit is rear mounted, and being compact in size gives good clearance in comparison to other heavy duty PTO units; in addition, to increase the life of the hydraulic pump, the unit has independent shaft support bearings.
The Chelsea 522 is available in two shift types, air, or electric over air, with 1-1/4'' tapered or parallel shaft, with ratios of 1:1.35 and 1:1.75 intermittent torque (Nm) 350 can be achieved, together with 55kW power at 1500 r/m (output DIN 5462/ISO14).
Chelsea auxiliary power system products have been established in the marketplace since the 1940s and continue to innovate and provide the benchmark in power take-off.
As part of the of the international Parker Hannifin family of hydraulic equipment, the Parker Chelsea Division manufactures more 6 and 8 bolt PTOs than all other PTO manufacturers combined. Request a free brochure from Parker Hannifin ...
