The Lintvalve division of Kent based Procon Engineering is introducing its T96S single channel boiler leak detection system The T96S provides a compact and cost effective system for leak detection in small boilers, selected areas of larger boilers, temporary installations in suspect and test areas and installations in restricted areas

The system can be fitted to either new or existing boilers and installation requires the minimum of disruption.

Both airborne and structure borne versions are available, depending on the application.

The airborne version monitors the internal noise of the boiler using a special microphone and waveguide.

The system has a wide frequency band and when calibrated can provide both leak detection and leak location.

The structure borne version monitors the vibration in the boiler structure created by a leak within the boiler.

It uses special sensors fitted to the outside of the water wall.

The programmable controller processes the signals from both types of system and provides a numeric display and up to four set-points.

The volt-free change-over relays provide alarms for low signal, possible leak and probable leak scenarios.

Where appropriate, multiple T96S units can be integrated into the Lintvalve T96 data acquisition system, which includes bar graphs for each channel, a boiler schematic highlighting the position and status of each sensor and a 'Trend' facility to retrieve data and indicate up to eight signals and their variations.

Lintvalve have extensive experience in the installation of boiler leak detection systems and provide full on site evaluation and commissioning world-wide.
