Leading weighing and process control suppliers Procon Engineering are using the upcoming Easyfairs Solids Exhibition in Bolton to promote their extensive service, calibration and support capabilities.

Their stand will feature a live working demonstration of their innovative UKAS traceable ForceCal silo and vessel calibration unit, which now boasts a working capacity from 500 kg up to 40 tonnes.

The fully portable ForceCal is totally non-obtrusive and therefore does not require the vessel being calibrated to be empty.

This method is ideal for large storage vessels and calibration can be carried out in a matter of minutes, with the minimum of disruption to normal production.

The unit is battery powered and certified for use in hazardous areas.

Along side ForceCal will be the Procon recently introduced FlowCal portable flow meter calibration unit, which can calibrate meters on site, thereby minimising production downtime.

Visitors to the stand can also gain an appreciation of the broad company range of process weighing system capabilities.

Procon Engineering is to be at Easyfairs Solids Exhibition on Stand No 320 in May 2005.
