Pro-Tech is an Atlanta based manufacturer of Industrial Computer Workstations that allow for the placement of computer systems in environments that are considered harsh and/or hazardous.
Operations include a 36,000 sqft engineering, design, and assembly facility along with an affiliated 50,000 sqft fully-automated manufacturing plant.
All manufacturing operations including laser, punching, forming, welding, hardware insertion, plating, painting, and silk-screening are performed in-house.
Final assembly and integration of flat panel displays, computers, keyboards, purge systems, and signal extenders are handled in the new assembly facility.
All standard and custom designs are completely engineered in-house via Pro/E, a parametric 3-dimensional CAD modeling system.
The 3D modeling allows in-depth customer review of new or custom designs prior to hard manufacturing.
Operations are controlled by VISTA, an ERP manufacturing/inventory control system running on Windows NT.
The majority of Pro-Tech products carry UL/cUL approval, as well as hazardous area certification by FM, CSA, UL, and Cenelec.
All products are strictly designed to meet the NEMA standards.
The Pro-Tech goal is to assist customers in the application of their computer technology into industrial areas considered harsh or hazardous, or clean washdown areas.
This is achieved through application reviews, custom designs and complete workstation products.
SlimView Flat-Panel Workstations from Pro-Tech are used for NEMA 12,4 and 4X as well as hazardous (Class I/II, Division 1 /2) environments.
These computer workstations feature flat panel displays, industrial computers, purge systems, industrial keyboards and touchscreens and run standard software for SCADA or discrete operator interface.
Industrial workstations are certified by Rockwell Automation and Emerson Process Management.
See the website for a full list of system users across all industries.
