Water purification system options
Water is an essential raw material for a wide range of cleanroom applications, being used in production operations and for research and development: what are the options for purification?
Specially designed for use in a wide range of industrial water purification applications, the Elite Combi is available in a choice of five models, capable of handling flow rates between 17 l/hour and 322 l/hour.
Each unit offers a high level of performance and efficiency, with minimum salt rejection rates of 97% and maximum recovery rates of 75%, depending on water quality and the nature of other pre-treatment processes.
All models within the Elite Combi range are constructed from robust stainless steel base frames, with tough plastic front panel housings for controls and instruments.
Each unit is supplied with a specially designed polypropylene inlet filter, with a 5 micron filter cartridge and protected by two pressure gauges.
System automation and functionality for both the RO and softening units is controlled via the latest Puritron microprocessor technology, ensuring accurate and consistent operation, while extending operating life.
Two-digit alphanumeric displays are fitted for monitoring permeate conductivity, forced stop and full tank indication, while high visibility LEDs are used to show the status of softening and disinfection processes, with separate alarm signals for low pressure, hard water and high conductivity.
Due to the compact, space saving design, installation of Elite Combi units is quick and simple, with Purite supplying all of the necessary valves and fittings, if required.
Additionally, the company can provide distribution pipe work, additional pre-treatment, installation and project management support, as required.
Customised systems can also be supplied.
