For example, process machinery, storage vessels and the designated 'clean' areas prevalent in the food, brewing and pharmaceutical industries, often require regular cleansing and sterilising.

The CSF Steam Water Mixer, available through Pump Engineering, is the safe, easy-to-operate device which is ideally suited to most cleansing and sterilising applications.

It is simple to install because existing steam and cold water supplies can be utilised.

Also, running costs are minimal because the design of the mixer ensures that all the heat energy in the steam is transferred to the water.

In the past, many applications required the availability of 'live' steam for sterilisation.

However, to meet current health and safety demands the latest steam water mixer models are designed without this facility, so the potential for 'live' steam being discharged through operator error is eliminated.

CSF Steam Water Mixers are simple to use and provide a water temperature up to a maximum of 95C and volumes up to 10,000 litres/hour for the 1.25" version.

Water temperatures are easily controlled at the outlet of the mixer by using the water and steam valves fitted to the inlets.

A built-in non-glass thermometer enables the desired water temperature to be set and monitored and, if required, cold water can be discharged from the mixer for other purposes.

The mixers are made from 304 stainless steel, with fittings in the same material.
