PDX Sonic at Anuga Foodtec 2006

A Pursuit Dynamics product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Jan 23, 2006

As a system integrator for the UK company Pursuit Dynamics, Berief Innovativ will attend Anuga Foodtec 2006 to present the revolutionary PDX Sonic steam-based supersonic shockwave technology

Berief Innovativ will present the revolutionary PDX Sonic steam-based supersonic shockwave technology at the Anuga Foodtec 2006 Exhibition.

With 30 patents worldwide, PDX Sonic shockwave technology provides the most efficient system available for the manufacture of convenience products, soups, sauces, dressings and soft drinks.

The PDX Sonic-System is a fluid processing system which can homogenise, mix, heat and pump simultaneously with unequalled performance.

It can be used to transport fluids with high solids content, entrain different materials, heat ingredients or blend recipes.

It is a revolution in fluids handling and processing.

The driving force behind the PDX Sonic-System is a supersonic vapour flow and shockwave, generated using steam.

There are no moving parts to clog or block so that a reduction in cleaning time by up to 80% can be achieved.

Many trials have in the meantime been made on a PDX test unit, which have been proven that for example powders are fully integrated in the liquid and that starches can be activated and fully hydrated at low temperatures.

Due to the excellent dissolution of materials and perfect homogenisation, a reduced quantity of additives such as starches and spices is possible.

This means a considerable reduction in process times and a step change in energy efficiency.

Furthermore, the maintenance savings and CIP compatibility reduce operating costs.

On our booth, we will also present the well-known Berief machines such as the continuous teflon belt grill type Dubra as well as the tilting cooking and roasting kettle type Kippko which have been proven many times in the production of convenience products and ready meals.

Representatives from our co-operation partner 'Heat and Control' will also be available on the booth to demonstrate their machine ranges and to give further information about their technology.

See us at Anuga Foodtec in Hall 10.1 Booth No F 28 / G 29.
