PVL stocks Honsberg magnetic flow meters

A PVL product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Dec 1, 2008

German company Honsberg's MID1 range of magnetic inductive flow meters, for monitoring the flow of conductive liquids, is now available from Pressure Vacuum Level.

They are suitable for monitoring most process applications using conductive liquids, where extreme accuracy of flow measurement is unnecessary.

Key benefits of Honsberg MID1 magnetic induction flow meters - apart from low price - are: no moving parts inside the measuring tube; the meter is not affected by foreign matter carried by the liquid; virtually no pressure loss; measurement is independent of temperature, viscosity, concentration or pressure; laminar or turbulent flow can be measured; chemical compatibility is dependent only on the resistivity of the electrodes and of the measuring tube.

There are four versions of the MID1 range: from the simplest, providing fixed-frequency output or one switch point output, to the Omni-MID1 with illuminated LC display.
