QuickSilver SilverNugget I-Grade motor control
QuickSilver provides servo control of a 17 or 23 frame micro step motor utilising a single cable for both motor and encoder signals, with the SilverNugget I-Grade controller/driver
This multi-channel architecture allows for a network of field devices using CAN to work simultaneously with a supervisory network using RS232, RS485 or Ethernet.
The SilverDust IG8, part of the SilverLode controller family, is designed to servo, QuickSilver high torque NEMA 17 and NEMA 23 frame I-Grade step motor/encoders and includes breakouts for power, communications and I/O.
Closed loop control (servo) of a stepmotor, provides all the accuracy of a traditional servomotor at a lower cost and with superior torque for applications up to 2000 RPM (depending on model).
The IG8 only uses a single cable for both motor and encoder signals.
At 50feet, the cable has minimal voltage drop and excellent noise rejection.
Other IG8 Features: * 12-48V DC Input Power.
* Built-In Voltage Clamp and Power Resistor to dissipate excess power generated during rapid decelerations.
* 8 5-24VDC, Isolated, Bi-Directional I/O.
* 4 Analogue Inputs.
* 32K Non-Volatile Memory.
* R2-232/485,CAN, Ethernet.
* 100:1 Inertial Miss-Match.
* PVIA Servo Loop.
* Point To Point Moves.
* Profile Moves.
* Electronic Gearing/Camming.
* SSI Encoder Interface.
