MTS Technologies and Quatech collaborate
MTS Technologies and Quatech are collaborating on dedicated short range communications with wireless ePulse, which has had successful trials in vehicle applications
The Quatech Airborne 802.11 wireless module and the MTS Technologies Wireless ePulse solution have had successful trials on Michigan roadways.
Quatech , a wholly-owned subsidiary of DPAC Technologies Corporation, and a leader in embedded 802.11 wireless OEM solutions, today announced a joint effort with MTS Technologies to collaborate on wireless solutions that support Dedicated Short Range Communications (DSRC) standards.
The alliance will enable both Quatech and MTS Technologies, a leading product development and professional services firm, to develop and test DSRC functionality as part of the US Department of Transportation Vehicle Infrastructure Integration (VII) initiatives.
