RAC07 is the UK's only dedicated event for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, and enjoys the long-standing support of the three major refrigeration industry bodies in the country
Most stand space now booked for RAC07
With less than eleven months to go until doors open at the NEC for RAC07, the event organisers have announced that space at the show is already three-quarters booked
Now the even greater challenge of global warming looms large" explains RAC07 Event Director, Rowan Crowley: "As a major user of power, consuming up to 20 per cent of all the electricity generated in the UK, the industry has an important role to play in meeting this challenge".
At RAC07 "Sustainable Solutions For The Future" will embrace cutting-edge sessions in the event's expert seminar programme, practical presentations in the Skills Centre, and a constellation of the latest low energy technology and products from the exhibitors.
The theme will offer a coherent platform for exhibitors to inform the show audience of what they are doing to deliver on the energy and environmental issues facing the industry today.
At the same time, it will give a context for visitors to discuss with exhibitors how the latest refrigeration and air-conditioning technology can help them meet new legislative requirements, take advantage of Government initiatives, save energy and reduce cost.
"For end-users major investment decisions are now strongly influenced by energy prices, environmental laws, and the likely future direction of government policy" says Rowan Crowley: "With special client forums and programmes being developed for RAC07, these issues, and the practical implications for the trade and its customers, will be explored in depth at the industry's leading event".
Over 65% of space is now reserved for RAC07.
More than 170 companies participated at RAC05 which attracted a final visitor attendance of 7,505 (ABC audited), up more than 35% on the visitors at RAC03.
RAC07 will co-locate with H and V07, the biennial national event for the heating and ventilating industry.
