Most stand space now booked for RAC07
With less than eleven months to go until doors open at the NEC for RAC07, the event organisers have announced that space at the show is already three-quarters booked
"The verdict on RAC07 was overwhelmingly positive" says Event Director Rowan Crowley: "We have had fantastic feedback from exhibitors with a high proportion already committing to returning for RAC09.
It truly was representative of the refrigeration and air conditioning industry, and the "Sustainable Solutions For The Future" theme echoed the concerns and interests of equipment innovators, suppliers, contractors and end-users".
With innovative visitor attractions and more than 180 exhibitors taking part, this was an un-missable event for those involved in the RAC sector.

Register on-line now for RAC07
Online registration has opened for RAC07, (NEC, Birmingham, 27 February - 1 March 2007), the UK's only dedicated event for the refrigeration and air conditioning industry
Occupying 5200m2 of floor space in Hall 20, no other single event is able to gather so many of the top industry players together in the same place, at the same time.
RAC07 was attended by 7,251 visitors (pre audit figure), fractionally down on the 7,505 who attended RAC05, yet the quality of visitors remained very high.
Contractors, consultants, dealers and distributors connected with refrigeration and air-conditioning, as well as a cross-section of influential end-users from retail, commercial, leisure and industrial markets came to the event and attended the Skills Centre and seminar sessions in their droves.
A range of visitor attractions organised to complement the exhibition proved to be a resounding hit with visitors.
The free seminar sessions led by an impressive line up of speakers covered hot industry topics from climate change in cooling buildings to HFCs and F-Gas regulations.
A session on the big supermarkets priorities proved particularly popular, enjoying a standing-room only capacity audience.
Here, equipment buyers from the leading UK supermarkets - Bob Arthur from M+S, Nigel Armitage from ASDA, Andy Campbell from Tesco, David Chapman from Somerfield, Les King from Waitrose and John Skelton from Sainsbury's - highlighted how the industry can help them achieve their respective goals, discussed the impact of environmental issues and energy costs on their strategies, and revealed their thinking on green initiatives for the future.
Running alongside the exhibition was the highly successful Service Engineer Skills Centre.
Consisting of fifteen 45-minute sessions over three days, visitors were updated on the technical, legislative and health and safety topics that are central to the day-to-day work of RAC contractors and service engineers.
Each session saw an excellent turnout including the daily HRP Skills Challenge, where attendees had the chance to show off their industry knowledge.
Meanwhile, the first day of the show saw Doug Parr, Chief Scientist from Greenpeace, accept an award trophy on behalf of the SolarChill fridge at a special reception in the VIP Lounge.
The solar-powered cooler, championed by Greenpeace, had been voted the winner in a "Fantastic Fridges" competition.
Winning "Fantastic Fridges" followed hot on the heels of a recent success for the SolarChill in the 2006 Cooling Industry Awards where it scooped top prize in the prestigious Environmental Pioneer - Refrigeration category.
Visitors to RAC07 were able to see the SolarChill and the other nine "Fantastic Fridges" in a special feature area display at the event.
Once again, RAC07 was fully supported by the industry's leading trade associations, CIBSE, the BRA, HEVAC, the IOR and the LRS, who each promoted the event to respective member companies and the wider industry at large.
Emap Maclaren has announced that RAC09 will take place from 24 February - 26 February 2009 and will continue to run alongside the H+V (Heating and Ventilating) exhibition for the benefit of those visitors who work across the building services sector.
