Rapra Technology still has a few places left on its Six Sigma Black Belt programme, running from 7th to 10th September The course is run by ASI Quality Systems and consists of five four-day modules which cover both problem solving and process improvement activities and qualify the delegates in one of industry's fastest growing methods of quality improvement

A 30% reduction in fees is available to Rapra members and regular Rapra customers and a further 10% reduction is available to companies booking more than one delegate place.

The central idea of six sigma is the relentless pursuit of variability reduction across any number of processes; manufacturing or office based.

Variation in these processes can cause unwanted side effects in the form of defects and inefficient operations.

The systematic reduction of variability results in high quality processes which in turn lead to increase customer satisfaction.

The Rapra-based programme beginning in September is designed for all those in industry who are concerned with quality improvement in a production, engineering or development role.
