Humbert and Pol has made a major commitment to capturing a share of the UK materials handling market by appointing Robin Engineering Services as its local representative

Humbert and Pol, a leading German company in the bulk handling field, has made a major commitment to capturing a share of the UK materials handling market by appointing Robin Engineering Services, based in North Staffordshire, as its local representative.

In European markets, Humbert and Pol enjoys a reputation for quality engineered products and reliable systems built on the keystone of a tried and trusted range of bucket elevators.

This quality and reliability will now be offered to UK customers through Robin Engineering.

Capable of throughputs up to 100 M3/hour, the Humbert and Pol range is simple in design, constructed using only standard components, and specifically developed to be easy to clean.

Elevator casing may be supplied in mild steel or stainless, with integral access doors for cleaning or windows in polycarbonate, with buckets available in a wide selection of materials, such as mild or stainless steel, plastic, aluminium, or with a variety of coatings - selection being made according to the material being handled.

Moreover, every elevator can be supplied in single or multi infeed or single or multi discharge versions, configured either in the classic "Z" shape or as a double "Z", double "C" or "J" configuration as might be needed to meet the demands of unusual site layout.

Thanks to this in-built flexibility, Humbert and Pol have been selected by clients large and small to supply elevators for many different products including snack foods, breakfast cereals, confectionery, chemical prills and flakes, dry pet food and polymer granules.

Robin now offer this flexibility, quality and reliability, combining with it in-house experience and expertise in the materials handling industry to the UK market.

By taking the Humbert and Pol bucket elevator and adding to it such ancillary equipment as vibratory feeding systems, big bag filling and discharge facilities, Robin is able to propose fully engineered solutions to all materials handling problems, and through this appointment Humbert and Pol are assured of a substantial share and significant presence in the UK market.
