Spiral conveyor from Humbert and Pol
Humbert and Pol, Germany's leading materials handling engineering company, launched its new spiral conveyor at the recent CeMAT exhibition in Hannover
The spiral, which is designed for continuous elevation and lowering of packaged products within the factory environment, can be used in isolation as a space saving method of moving product between floors, or as part of an integrated product flow or line storage/retrieval system, enabling the movement of many hundreds of packages per hour Using only one drive motor, the spiral can operate at speeds up to 60 metres/minute and can be constructed in either mild or stainless steel, according to the needs of the installation
