The installation, which includes belt conveyors, bucket elevators and screw conveyors, will be produced in grade 304 stainless steel because of the hygiene requirements, as well as to combat the locally high levels of humidity, and is the latest in a number of contracts which Robin have completed with Guysuco.
Says Robin director, Brian Milnes 'We have been friends with Guysuco for a number of years now and have always endeavoured to supply top quality equipment on time - critical factors, when the annual sugar production period is relatively short, but very intensive.
During the production campaign, equipment failure cannot be tolerated and this is why we have done so well'.
Basing its activities on this philosophy, Robin has successfully supplied many fully integrated bulk handling systems, including tea handling and bagging in Turkey and a fully integrated bottle filling, capping, sealing and palletising system for pharmaceutical liquids in Iran, confirming that quality and reliability of service is paramount.
