This modern pyrolysis furnace was produced by Dutch company KTI in the first half of 1990-ies.
In this period, it was shipped to the plant.
However, its installation was suspended due to the financial problems faced by the plant.
The mounting and commissioning of F-110 was completed only in 2004.
Some outdated equipment of the reactor was substituted in this process.
The total price of the new pyrolysis furnace amounted to about 150m Roubles.
The F-110 efficiency is about 95 %.
The production rate is 24 t of raw material/hour.
The furnace is equipped with automatic control system controlled from Yokogawa, which facilitate control over the production.
As well as pyrolysis furnaces of the former generation, F-110 utilises both liquid and gas feedstocks.
The new distinctive feature is the built-in superheater providing higher utilisation of the waste-gas heat, also, there is a new type of coil pipe and new burners, etc All these structural alterations together provide the improved raw material economy, permit the increase the outputs of ethylene, propylene and benzene.
Also, the new furnace improves the ecological safety of the pyrolysis process by reducing harmful substance exhausts and decreasing the fume gases temperature.
Launching of F-110 will allow the overhaul schedule stabilizing in the Petrochemical Plant (NHZ).
The next project lies in the substitution and modernisation of some compressor and column equipment, launching of more furnaces of the above mentioned type and increasing of the Plant capacity, at first, up to 360 thousand tonnes of ethylene pa and then up to a level of 430 thousand tonnes of ethylene pa.
The pyrolysis furnace launching is an important stage of the major investment project of Sibur-Neftehim in Kstovo including the modernisation of the ethylene production and construction of a polyethylene plant.
