Oiltanking Deutschland, a German company, plans launching of an oil-handling terminal in the Leningrad region in 2008, according to the head of the company's Russian office, Boris Martynov He told that the terminal capacity would be 7.5m t of petroleum products/year

The investment in the project will reach USD135m.

According to the information provided by the vice-governor of the Leningrad region, Grigory Dvas, to the Interfax news agency, Oiltanking will start exploratory work immediately after approval for the general scheme of development of the Luga Bay north zone.
