RDP offer sea water submersible LVDTs
For measuring or controlling position beneath the sea or in harsh industrial applications, the SSD series of position transducers from RDP Electronics provide an economic and practical solution
Using the linear variable differential transformer (LVDT) principle means that it is probably the most robust and reliable position sensor type available Suitable for use on underwater control valves or vehicles and for measuring movement on structures, the SSD range is constructed from a special grade of stainless steel and fully welded to encounter pressure experienced at depths of up to 2,300 m
Calibrated outputs of +/-5 v or 0 - 10 v are available as standard with the option of 4 - 20 mA 2 wire transmission providing accurate data even over long cable runs.
Detailed specifications can be viewed on the website, or measurement requirements can be discussed with the technical sales team at the UK offices. Request a free brochure from RDP Electronics ...
