The growing Red Lion range of Ethernet equipped products is now complimented with the addition of a new industrial grade Ethernet switch, the model Switch08 Designed with industrial locations in mind, but at a price that is affordable, the Switch08 features eight 10/100 Base-T ports, auto negotiation of half or full duplex connections, and requires no set-up, reducing installation time
The DIN rail mountable Switch08 also offers auto-MDI/MDIX, an auto-crossing feature which allows connections to be made with any combination of standard or crossover Ethernet cables.
Power for the Switch08 can be provided from two DC sources, allowing for redundancy in critical applications.
A relay output provides a warning signal if either power supply fails, ensuring continued operation when needed.
