Chemical regulation specialist joins
ReFaC

Mike Padgham holds an MA in Chemistry from Oxford University and an MSc in Toxicology from the University of Birmingham.
His twenty-year career in the chemical industry began in 1986 as a Regulatory Toxicologist with the Health and Safety Executive assessing new substance notification submissions.
Two years later, he joined Nicholas Laboratories as its Registration Executive managing the registration of pharmaceutical products in Middle East markets.
In 1989, he was appointed Notification Specialist for the ICI Central Notification Unit delivering the worldwide notification of new chemical substances.
Between 1995 and 2001 he managed a wide range of toxicology studies and provided specialist regulatory consultancy for external customers of, successively, Zeneca, Astra-Zeneca and Syngenta.
Since 2001, he has also held the role of a Chemical Regulation Specialist for Syngenta providing expert support for chemical registrations throughout the European Union.
