Our latest generation Dialog Plus specifically solves these issues." The new Dialog Plus is available in 700VA to 3000VA power modules and both floor standing and 19" rack mount formats to offer the maximum number of installation options.
The UPS have been designed to occupy the smallest possible foot prints and rack heights for an on-line UPS.
The 3000VA rack mount unit at 2U high is 50% smaller than previous models.
Each UPS has a number of output sockets from which uninterruptible power can be drawn continuously.
The 3000VA model is capable of powering up to 6 separate devices such as file servers, PBXs, PoE enabled network switches, advanced telephony handsets, cameras and security devices.
To provide power failure protection Dialog Plus is available with a standard internal battery which will typically run for 13 minutes at full load.
This can be extended using modular battery packs to over 7 hours.
Fast recharge times have also been catered for.
The modular battery packs can be recharged in less than 8 hours and automatic battery testing and management help to prolong their working life.
For remote management and control each Dialog Plus has an informative front panel LED display, RS232 port and communications expansion slot.
The RS232 port allows remote management using the PowerShield software supplied with each UPS over a local area network or for data centre usage, the more sophisticated PowerNetGuard package.
The communications expansion slot is compatible with the Riello UPS range of cards to provide SNMP, MODBUS/JBUS, serial duplex communications.
The new Dialog Plus comes with a 2 year warranty, software configuration pack, PowerShield software on CD-ROM and connection cables.
The range starts from GBP499 plus delivery and VAT.
