The Intelligent Energy 2008 conference and exhibition entitled 'The Future is Here - The Value of Innovation and Integration' will be held in Amsterdam at the RAI, one of Europe's most advanced venues
The Technology Highway will provide an exclusive opportunity to view a whole range of AOI and X-Ray equipment used across the production line.
As visitors make their way along the Highway they will be able to see equipment in action and quiz technical operators from participating companies - with stands adjacent to the Highway - on issues which affect their individual manufacturing process.
Towards the end of the highway, populated boards will be tested by both low and high volume systems, with real time data being collected from the inspection process.
This invaluable information will be made available to visitors to assist them in their purchasing decisions according to their budget.
The Technology Highway will be the central feature at the UK's national electronics manufacturing event, providing participating exhibitors with a unique occasion to display equipment and to demonstrate capabilities to key industry buyers, alongside competitor products.
"UK manufacturers are increasingly being pressured to reduce costs, yet increase accuracy and yield," explains Peter Swanson, Vice President of the SMART Group: "We chose to put the spotlight on Inspection at the 2008 event to raise awareness of the importance it plays in achieving this goal.
Our unique forum will enable us to educate the industry on the technology, its capabilities and the systems available.
With fault recognition being demonstrated in real time, our exhibiting companies will have an invaluable opportunity to put their products and capabilities centre stage".
A 'Technology Highway Inspection Guide' featuring information on participants' products will be made available prior to the show, and handed out to visitors during the 2008 exhibition.
For more information on how to take part in the Technology Highway, call the Nepcon team now! Nepcon will take place 29th April - 1st May 2008 at the Birmingham NEC, in Hall 20.
