The free seminar programme for this year's Recycling and Waste Management Exhibition (RWM05) has now been published, along with details of the workshop sessions in the Employment Zone, the presentation programme for the Legislation Zone and the timetables for the outdoor waste and vehicle demonstrations With just over two weeks to go, the organisers of RWM05, which takes place at the Birmingham NEC from 13 -15 September, have confirmed that this year's show will be the biggest and best yet, with over 360 exhibitors and several new visitor attractions

The comprehensive seminar programme, sponsored by Onyx, will run every day during the show and features a line up of expert industry speakers.
Day one is devoted to legislation, with sessions on the Waste Strategy Review, the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive and Treating Organic Waste.
Day two is focused on local authority issues and includes presentations from Defra (Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs), Waste Watch and local councils, while the final day is dedicated to Health and Safety, featuring expert speakers from the Health and Safety Executive and the British Metals Recycling Association.

RWM 07 conference talking climate change
The industry will be "talking climate change" when the un-missable Recycling and Waste Management (RWM) exhibition returns this September
Visitors are advised to pre-book their places.
Introduced this year, the Employment Zone (designed to help visitors find out more about a career in waste management and recycling), will feature daily workshop sessions on training, skills acquisition, employment law and communications.
The workshops are free of charge and visitors do not need to pre- book.
A programme is available on the website.
Another new feature introduced this year, the Legislation Zone, sponsored by Defra, will provide visitors with answers to their legislative queries.
An outline framework for topics under discussion is available on the RWM website and includes the Environmental Permitting Programme, the Landfill Allowance Trading Scheme and Hazardous Waste.
Visitors will be able to see a variety of demonstrations in the Live Outdoor Waste Demonstration Area including glass crushing by Recresco and car baling by Sierra Europe Recycling in partnership with Wright Engineers Machinery.
Faun Municipal Vehicles and Mitsubishi Fuso will feature regularly in the Live Outdoor Vehicle Demonstration Area alongside Isuzu Truck who will be demonstrating the Nees 2 Easyshift automated transmission mechanical gearbox.
Entry to all of the RWM05 features, including the seminar sessions, workshops, demonstration areas and exhibition halls is entirely free of charge.
Visitors simply need to register to attend the show.
