RWM 07 conference talking climate change
The industry will be "talking climate change" when the un-missable Recycling and Waste Management (RWM) exhibition returns this September
Taking place at the Birmingham NEC from 11 to 13 September, RWM 07 will feature a number of new visitor attractions including a two-day conference running alongside the show and a new exhibition and workshop area dedicated to climate change: an issue that has risen to the top of the agenda for business and local government alike Popular features such as the outdoor vehicle and waste demonstrations and free seminar sessions will run throughout the three-day show, while this year's indoor and outdoor exhibitions are expected to attract over 450 exhibitors, showcasing the latest waste management and recycling technologies and solutions

New for 2007, RWM07 Exhibition is running an in-depth conference programme alongside the exhibition: take a look at the programmes and see how you can benefit!
Visitors can pre-register for free, fast-track entry now, on the website, where they can also access an online planning facility to create their own unique schedule of stand visits and show events.
Introduced this year, following consultation with visitors, is the RWM 07 Conference featuring in-depth sessions on plastics, kitchen waste, construction and demolition, and vehicles and technology.
The conference (which is chargeable) provides delegates with a dedicated programme of presentations and debate on these topical issues and a unique opportunity to ask questions directly of key Government and industry figures.

Meanwhile a new area - RWM 07: Talking Climate Change - has been introduced in response to the urgent need for practical information on tackling climate change, through recycling and waste management.
Visitors will be able to attend free of charge sessions where they can find out how to measure the carbon footprint of their organisation and understand how legislation such as the Climate Change Bill is likely to affect them.
"RWM is the UK's leading dedicated event for the recycling and waste management industry and has rightly earned a reputation as the place to source valuable contacts and business solutions, whatever part of industry you work in," said RWM 07 organiser, Steve Crowhurst: "At RWM 07 you can find out about new products or services as they are launched, see the latest vehicles and processing equipment in action, and attend free seminars where industry experts demystify environmental legislation and share their ideas.

Last year's Recycling and Waste Management exhibition (RWM 06) was bigger than ever before, making it the best-attended and fastest-growing event in the industry calendar.
More than 7,100 visitors flocked to the Birmingham NEC to see over 430 companies.
And when exhibitors, press and seminar speakers are taken into account, the total attendance was 9,235, up nearly 10% on 2005.
