If waste is your world then you should register now for free entry to the Recycling and Waste Management exhibition (RWM), which takes place from 16 to 18 September 2008 at the Birmingham NEC.

There you can attend free seminars specific to your sector, meet with industry experts and find over 450 companies exhibiting the latest recycling technologies and solutions This year, in response to visitor and exhibitor feedback, the popular RWM seminars will take place in three separately themed seminar theatres enabling you to customise a programme that is entirely relevant to your interests

Following its successful launch at RWM 07, the dedicated Talking Climate Change zone will once again provide you with a convenient opportunity to attend specialist seminars about the subject and speak to companies and organisations exhibiting there.

The free sessions will include practical information on energy and engineering for climate change, measuring carbon footprints and examples of how climate change can be addressed through recycling and waste management.

The local authority seminar theatre will cover issues facing council waste and recycling departments and the contractors and reprocessors they work with.

Industry experts from the public and private sector will be giving insight and guidance on upcoming legislation, kerbside collection and PFI projects using real case studies.

Separately a business seminar theatre will provide details of successful recycling initiatives in the areas of construction, retailing, manufacturing, logistics, packaging and food.

Meanwhile the RWM ever expanding outdoor exhibition and demonstration area will give you a live experience of the latest vehicle and plant technology.

Also returning this year is the RWM dedicated conference where you can pay to attend longer strategic sessions on a comprehensive number of subjects and issues surrounding the industry.

These will focus on legislation, emerging market opportunities and the growing impact of climate change.

RWM event manager, Gerry Sherwood, says: "Whether you are motivated to reduce, recycle or reuse because of legal pressure, commercial opportunity or simply because of a compassionate conscience, RWM is the unmissable event in the industry calendar.

It attracted over 8,000 visitors during its three day run last year, and has grown by 40 per cent in the last four years".
