A glowing reputation for reliability and a long-standing relationship has help secure another order for Riggs Autopack, one of the leading UK manufacturers of depositing and filling machines

The Tracklement Company, which produces speciality chutneys, pickles and sauces, has purchased a Riggs Model 1000 twin head filing machine, which has been installed on a production line at their new factory premises in Wiltshire Having previously purchased two semi-automatic filling machines, the new fully automated equipment was bought to increase productivity and the company now has the capability of faster filling with high viscosity products

Its effective handling of these products has allowed the Tracklement Company to meet the growing demands from well known retailers.

Offering exceptional flexibility and excellent changeover times, the Model 1000 is ideal for the Tracklement Company where it is being used to fill jars between 200mL and 1.2 Litres.

Tracklement director John Wilkins could not be more pleased with the standard of equipment: "Overall I am very impressed with how the machine operates; its responsiveness and adaptability are superb.

We have had no problems with it and the team here are delighted that it is easy to clean and use.

Because of the machine quick change-over time and reliability we have been able to increase our production levels with great results".

Riggs Autopack offers a range of filling equipment from simple, stand-alone or table-top models to fully automated, PLC controlled multi-head conveyorised filling lines and these are complemented by a full range of depositing nozzles and decorating heads for cream or fillings.

The nozzles give drip-free cut-off and Riggs has both the experience and the expertise to ensure all its customers individual requirements are met.

Other filling machines from Riggs Autopack have proved reliable, robust and simple to operate and maintain.

It is from this good track record that Tracklements decided to stick with its original supplier of equipment.

Mr Wilkins adds: "From ordering the equipment through to the commissioning of it, the service from Riggs has been impeccable.

They carried out a courtesy call after the equipment was installed to ensure that it was performing to a high standard, which I was particularly impressed with.

I cannot fault the reliability of the machine and I would have no problem in recommending Riggs to others".
