Riggs Autopack has provided Tanfield Food with a gentle agitation system to avoid blockages whilst keeping the flow smooth achieving an even distribution and feed of product.
The machine is currently depositing meats and vegetables into 50 - 280g trays at speeds of up to 14 per minute as well as aiding the new product development department.
Tanfield Food is particularly impressed with its precision and the ease at which the equipment is able to be incorporated into the production line.
When the machine was first purchased its versatility allowed Tanfield Food to use it for a series of different applications, including the handling of both raw produce and cooked sauces with and without solids, for example, honey and mustard pour over sauce and bolognese sauce into pouches.
Riggs Autopack already has an excellent reputation within the food industry for its depth of knowledge, responsiveness and excellent level of service.
Tanfield Food engineering manager, Dave Dunn commented: "Riggs equipment is easy to operate and has impressive change over times, ideal for coping with the demand for more choice.
