The equipment purchased, which includes a twin skinned product hopper, has lived up to its reputation: after being customised it is now depositing organic vegetable casserole into plastic ready meal pots at an approximate speed of up to 50 pots per minute with weights of 300g and 500g.
Serious Soup general manager, Peter Dunn is extremely pleased with the decision he made to go ahead with Riggs Autopack: "The increased autonomy that has come from the use of the equipment has allowed us to confidently extend our product range.
It is now also able to deposit meat casserole with little agitation to the product, successfully extending our product portfolio - the versatility of the equipment has allowed us to do this with no problems at all," he said.
