Meters for line sizes up to 12inches are available with pressure ratings up to 900psi at 248F, with smaller meters such as 4 and 6 inch rated up to 3500psi.
Meters to be installed in parallel are tuned to different operating frequencies (in accordance with API MPMS Chapter 5, Section 6, 6.3.7) to prevent crosstalk issues: for example Rheonik has frequently installed multiple 10inch RHM160 meters in parallel on custody transfer skids.
Rheonik meters have multifunction capability with flow, density and temperature outputs and can be connected directly to flow computers for volume standardisation and proving requirements.

Extremely low flow conditions are no problem
The Able 1010 Clamp-on ultrasonic flow meters have exceptional low flow measurement and stability capabilities, demonstrated recently by measuring flows of less than 0.25 ft/sec
They are constructed from stainless steel as standard, or optionally from Hastelloy C-22 and other nickel alloys for corrosive applications.
Tantalum meter elements are available in the same meter form factor for difficult and highly corrosive applications, including hydrochloric acid, sour hydrocarbons and many halogens.
Meters are available for applications with temperatures up to 750F - another area where Rheonik leads the market.
Unlike other designs that have to use thin wall tubes to ensure reliable measurement and secondary pressure containment to provide safety in use, Rheonik meters are manufactured using thick wall measurement tubes as standard, removing the requirement for secondary containment while providing the highest pressure ratings in the industry.
This inherent rugged nature of Rheonik meters also makes them highly suitable for abrasive applications.
Rheonik meters are ideal for hazardous area use as all meters are intrinsically safe (even the largest ones!) with ATEX and cCSAus certifications.
Accuracy of 0.1% for liquids and 0.5% for gases is offered and a variety of transmitter styles and connectivity is available to suit the majority of applications.
Rheonik only manufactures Coriolis mass flowmeters and have models available for flow ranges from 0.002 lb/min up to 55,100 lb/min, with pressure ratings up to 13,050psi and temperature ranges from -328F to 750F.
Line sizes range from fractional tube up to 12 inches.
