ATEX approval for Rittal
The Rittal range of Ex terminal boxes have now been tested successfully and fully comply with the new EC Directive 94/9/EC on explosion protection (ATEX 100)
The Rittal range of Ex terminal boxes have now been tested successfully and fully comply with the new EC Directive 94/9/EC on explosion protection (ATEX 100) This new legislation became effective at the end of June 2003
The products required no physical or technical change to meet all the requirements of the new ATEX directive.
The enclosures also meet the requirements for terminal boxes where applications require Exe and Exia.
